DB Capital

Our Ventures.

We may encompass a broad range of risk tolerance and philosophies within a wide array of investments, including debt and equity securities, commodities, currencies, digital assets, derivatives, real estate, and other investment vehicles. We are not “angel” investors nor do we provide “seed” capital.

Private Equity.

We work with private equity funds, investment banks, and other institutional partners throughout an M&A deal lifecycle. We focus on deal flows in companies with $10 million to over $100 million in annual revenue. Targets typically include corporate carve-outs, underperforming businesses, growth and expansion situations and family businesses in transition.

Multiple Strategies.

Quantitative Trading combines the use of quantitative analysis and mathematical models to analyze the change in price and volume of a security. Mathematical models and computations are used to collect and analyze data with a rapid throughput rate on investment opportunities. Quantitative techniques include statistical arbitrage, algorithmic trading, and high-frequency trading.

Opportunistic Investing aims to generate returns by active engagement with a company’s board of directors to affect corporate change. Typically invests in equities, corporate and structured credit, and venture capital strategies taking a significant minority stake in a publicly traded company in order to change how it is run. The goal is to create a catalyst or triggering event that will increase shareholder value and result in stock price appreciation.
